My love for all things Art goes back to my childhood…so much so, that I decided to major in it while attending Michigan State University & receiving a BFA. Knowing that it would be difficult to earn a living from art alone, I changed my major to art education, which I did for a very short time due to many twists & turns in my life.
I’ve returned to my great love of art only recently & have met great support & encouragement from my fellow artists.
My process involves a back-and-forth play between spontaneous, intuitive mark-making & careful deliberation & intention: I think of it as letting things happen & making things happen. I leave my paintings open to interpretation by the viewer, so I hope you’ll have fun looking at them.
