Taking the viewer into a tiny world of wonderful art, Think Small is an exhibit that shows just how much can be said with so little! Sixty-three artists competed for recognition with a total of 73 pieces of art being displayed. This is a favorite show for Lawrence Street Gallery goers since it comes at a time when we are looking for unique ways to gift friends, family and often ourselves. Dimension requirements for the show are a maximum of 12 inches in any direction. This produces tiny art stories in various media to delight and surprise.

This year’s juror, Shirley Gower, has been a watercolor artist for many years. She is well known for teaching inspirational classes in watercolor at Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center and at PCCA. She worked in figure drawing and design classes over the years. Gower is a life member of the Birmingham Society of Women Painters and member of Detroit area Palette and Brush Club.
