Lawrence Street Gallery presents Irish Landscapes & Chinese Scrolls, a solo exhibition by Glenn “Fuzz” Corey featuring paintings inspired by the dramatic coastlines of Ireland and the contemplative traditions of Chinese scroll painting.
The exhibition brings together Corey’s expressive interpretations of rugged cliffs, rolling green hills, and expansive waters alongside works influenced by the elegance and quiet rhythm of traditional Chinese landscape art. Through contrasting approaches to composition and atmosphere, the collection explores both the grandeur of nature and moments of still reflection.
A public opening reception will be held on Sunday, July 5, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. A mid-month reception follows on Sunday, July 19, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., featuring an ekphrastic poetry reading at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
