Traci Mitchell is a Michigan artist working in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Her paintings explore memory, atmosphere, and the quiet significance of ordinary places, objects, and moments. Drawn to dramatic light, unexpected viewpoints, and familiar subjects, she creates work ranging from intimate still lifes to landscapes and figurative scenes. Rather than nostalgia itself, her work is interested in the way ordinary things acquire meaning simply because time passes.
