“I see the beauty of God’s world and I work to express it in my original works of art whether it is in oils, acrylics or murals. That becomes a celebration for me.”
Rebecca has studied fine art throughout her life and with her family talent has taught herself to see, capture, and produce art. She has been involved with the Romeo Art Guild, Oakland University, Meadowbrook Gallery, Sterling Hgts Chamber, Rochester Chamber, Business Networking International, and has taught at the Older Persons Center in Rochester MI.
“The loss of my mother when I was a teenager has led me on a journey in pursuit of expression via art and to develop my art through oil painting. I created a painting of cardinals, due to her loveof them, and this piece developed quickly, almost with a “guiding hand.” I knew then that I was blessed with her wishes for me to continue on this journey into the world of art. My father, who was in his own right a talented artist and a modeler in the automotive industry, is where I can trace my artistic talent.”
