Carolina Bueno

I am a retired college professor.   I study drawing during my undergraduate studies, however I major in languages and have a masters in education.  I worked as an assistant principal for summer school programs, I was a director of tutorial programs in the Flint Schools, and at the community college I was acting dean for a while, chair of my department and professor of languages.   I have administrative experience and I am very good at organizing events.

Since I retired I decided to get back to painting, and I love working with pastels, but also I am always looking to discover new techniques.   I attend many workshops, and have study under the guidance of people such Lian Quan Zhen for watercolors, Marla Bagetta and Dawn Emerson in pastels, and inks, and several other great artists.
